I updated my photos in my Tattoo and Painting albums. These are all recent tattoos that have been done during my time at Permanent Addictions tattoo. I feel inspired, and have been trying to put out the best work I have ever done. Today was my birthday, and I thought it was fitting to update the page and let everyone know I am extremely thankful for keeping me busy doing what I love. I have had other artist sending me pieces, I have had clients sending in friends and family, and I have had people walk through the door that now have several pieces by me. I am not sure how I got so lucky to do what I love everyday, and have such a strong support system to help me but I am forever grateful. A month or so ago, I read a long rant from a well respected tattoo artist. One thing he said that stuck out to me was "Tattooing doesn't owe me anything, I owe tattooing everything". Every single time I set up for a tattoo since I have read that, I repeat that mantra to myself. Tattooing is not easy, its many nights staying up late drawing, coming to work on your day off to finish a design or work with a client who couldn't get in another day. But I honestly can't see myself doing anything else. Tattooing is one of the most rewarding professions one could have and I feel honored that I get the chance to do it. Lets keep it rolling in 2017 and keep making Sioux Falls full of traditional tattoos.
