I updated my photos in my Tattoo and Painting albums. These are all recent tattoos that have been done during my time at Permanent Addictions tattoo. I feel inspired, and have been trying to put out the best work I have ever done. Today was my birthday, and I thought it was fitting to update the page and let everyone know I am extremely thankful for keeping me busy doing what I love. I have had other artist sending me pieces, I have had clients sending in friends and family, and I have had people walk through the door that now have several pieces by me. I am not sure how I got so lucky to do what I love everyday, and have such a strong support system to help me but I am forever grateful. A month or so ago, I read a long rant from a well respected tattoo artist. One thing he said that stuck out to me was "Tattooing doesn't owe me anything, I owe tattooing everything". Every single time I set up for a tattoo since I have read that, I repeat that mantra to myself. Tattooing is not easy, its many nights staying up late drawing, coming to work on your day off to finish a design or work with a client who couldn't get in another day. But I honestly can't see myself doing anything else. Tattooing is one of the most rewarding professions one could have and I feel honored that I get the chance to do it. Lets keep it rolling in 2017 and keep making Sioux Falls full of traditional tattoos. December 2016- A change of direction

As many of you noticed, I have decided to move on from the shop I had been at for many years. I am now located at Permanent Addictions Tattoo in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Many years ago, I helped grow Permanent Addictions and its reputation. After 6 years I decided it was time to "come home". I am extremely lucky to be able to do tattoos with someone who taught me a good portion of what I know today as a tattoer. Sioux Falls will always be my home, and I wanted to take a moment to thank all of my clients for allowing me to make a living doing permanent art on you all.

I will continue to offer my services by appointment, but also am happy to take walk-ins anytime I am not busy with a scheduled client. Walk-in tattoos are important to me because I like the challenge of being kept on my toes and not "knowing what is next". You can also now keep up with me via www.permanentaddictions.com but I will be updating this page with tattoos and paintings a little more often. 2017 is looking to be an inspiring year. I would love to start a new tattoo for you. I am more than happy to make you a tattoo design from scratch, or to work with you on a design that you already have. I plan on keeping up monthly with this little blog, including a page of hand painted flash that will be the "specials" for the month. Permanent Addictions Tattoos will also be featuring weekly and monthly specials to keep things interesting! I plan on continuing to grow as a tattooer, learning all that I can. I am currently planning a few guest spots in the region and also plan on having a few friends come to guest at Permanent Addictions. I will keep you all up to date so please visit back every now and again!
